Dr. Sean Lim

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Sean Lim completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia. He then completed dental school at the same institution, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine. During his time in dental school, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he served as Second Lieutenant. Upon graduation, Dr. Lim moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he was promoted to Captain and served at Canadian Forces Base Borden as a Dental Officer in General Dentistry.

After completing his obligatory service with the military, Dr. Lim continued his studies by completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is here where he received extensive, broad-scope training in all facets of the field. Upon graduating, he moved back to Toronto, Ontario.

Sean enjoys the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with special interests in wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial trauma.

Outside of work, Sean is a diehard Toronto Raptors fan, and you will likely catch him at Scotiabank Arena on game days. He is also an avid foodie who loves to try new restaurants, both in Toronto and abroad.
